Hi, I’m Ava! I’m a twelve-year old girl with autism. In case you didn’t know, autism is a neurological difference that makes you think differently. In my case, it gave me a superpower, and a challenge. The challenge forces me to tolerate noises. In other words, I can hear everything around my surroundings. Also, having autism makes it much harder to cope, especially if I’m upset. However, I believe it has given me a gift. The gift to be amazing at something you are passionate about. For me, it is video games.

Here are three reasons why you should donate to me.

1. I have the strength to persevere through difficult times.

When I was much younger, I didn’t really know what it was like to be “human”. I couldn’t really talk and have the ability to do normal tasks that a typical neurological person could do, like having the habit to wash your hands, ability to count, etc. When I went to a special school, it opened an opportunity to redeem myself and work hard. It took time, effort, and growth to have few outbursts and become independent. I hope this inspires you to pursue your dreams and maybe donate to me.

2. I have a good spirit and mind.

I think everyone deserves to have a good spirit and not feel bad. I always try to look at the bright side, even if I feel negative.

3. I do what I love most, and look for new goals.

One of my goals is raising $1000 for autism.
